CBKZ-FS5HFR is an option that adds the 100/120 fps HFR (High Frame Rate) function

to the PXW-FS5/FS5K. This document describes how to install on a PXW-FS5/FS5K.

Notes

• To use the 100/120 fps HFR function, the software version of the PXW-FS5/FS5K

needs to be Ver. 4.00 or later. Confirm the software version of the camcorder you are

using.

• To confirm the software version, operate the camcorder as follows:

Press the MENU button ? select the (SYSTEM) menu ? [VERSION

DISPLAY].

• When the software version is earlier than Ver. 4.00, update the software first. For

details on how to update, see the Sony Website for professional products.

Installing the Option

1 Access the “Upgrade and License Management Suite” website

(https://ulms.sony.net), and click “Enter Purchase Code.”

2 Follow the on-screen instructions to acquire an installation key.

3 Follow the on-screen instructions to install the option.
