This link enables remote switching of the remote controlled camera video on the HS50's AUX bus, and other unique functions The AW-HS50 has built-in, switchable 10-bit frame synchronizers on each input, ensuring reliable, glitch-free switching even with non-synchronous sources such as remote camera feeds, small camcorders, and computer graphics.
The HS50 has four HD/SD-SDI inputs and one HD DVI-D input, two HD/SD-SDI outputs and one scalable DVI-D output. Additional standard features include an on-screen display (OSD) for viewing switcher settings, GPI input, camera tally outputs, an Ethernet control interface, 4-pin XLR 12VDC input, and an AUX Bus for a versatile production workflow.

The AJA Ki Pro is a tapeless video recording device that records high-quality Apple ProRes 422 QuickTime files onto computer-friendly media. Because it features SD/HD-SDI, HDMI, and analog inputs, you can interface with virtually any type of camera you might own or rent. Enjoy monitoring flexibility through Ki Pro’s numerous simultaneous outputs, connecting to both professional and consumer monitors.
A Revolution in Production and Post
Eliminate the cost and inconvenience of logging and capturing footage. Ki Pro produces Apple ProRes 422 QuickTime files that are ready for immediate use within Final Cut Studio [(Apple ProRes 422, Apple ProRes (LT), Apple ProRes (Proxy) and Apple ProRes 422 (HQ) supported]. Simply connect the media to a host computer and begin editing. Unify SD, 720 and 1080 cameras and formats with one superior 10-bit full-raster codec—Apple ProRes 422. Ki Pro features cross-conversion so you can have a 720p camera produce a 1080i recording to match your other camera... or vice versa. And if you’ve got highquality SD cameras, Ki Pro can even help you extend their use since it also up-converts SD camera signals to HD recordings. No more digitizing; No more worrying about which camera to use; High-quality ready-to-edit video.
Ki Pro in the Field
Ki Pro is portable and rugged; designed for a variety of production environments. Powered through an industry standard 4-pin XLR, you have flexible AC and battery options. An optional exo-skeleton can be used with your camera and tripod—complete with sliding baseplate and slots for 15mm rods.
Ki Pro Connects
Capture the full quality of your camera by tapping the direct uncompressed camera outputs. Connect any digital camera or VTR via component analog, SDI or HDMI to Ki Pro. Balanced and unbalanced audio connectors, LTC input/output, and even LANC, are provided. By bypassing tape or recordable media compression, Ki pro maintains the best possible image quality your camera produces.

The AG-HPX170 is an ultra-mobile P2 HD handheld camcorder featuring full, 4:2:2 independent frame production quality HD and solid-state recording. Based on the AG-HVX200 series, the lighter HPX170 is fully solid state (no DV mechanism), and comes with a host of enhancements including a new 1/3" progressive 3-CCD imager system, wider Leica Dicomar 13X lens, an HD-SDI interface, metadata input and management, and a 5-year limited warranty (with registration).
Wide Choices in 1080i, 720p, 480i Recording
The HPX170 has two P2 card slots and records in 20 HD and SD formats - from 1080i, 1080p, 720p to 480i. Its newly enhanced 1/3" progressive 16:9 3-CCD imager delivers an excellent signal-to-noise ratio, lower noise/smear, and exceptional low-light performance. High-end features like Dynamic Range Stretch (DRS) which allows for better control over highlights and shadows in run and gun situations. The digital signal processor with 14-bit A/D conversion and 19-bit processing assure high-quality recordings necessary for top-level production and broadcast. Because the HPX170 scans the initial image at a 1080p/60 and all camera processing happens at his level. Because of this images maintain the highest quality possible up to the final conversion for compression and recording.
Reliable Solid-State P2 Recording
The HPX170 is ideal for professionals looking to take full advantage of the reliability and flexibility of the fast, file-based P2 workflow. P2 HD products have no moving parts, unlike tape, hard disk drive, or disc-based systems. It provides instant random access to recorded HD or SD content; and operates reliably in harsh environments, with resistance to temperature extremes, shock and vibration.
Using 32GB P2 cards in the HPX170's two card slots, you can record up to 160 minutes in full frame DVCPRO HD formats, 128 minutes in DVCPRO50, 256 minutes in DVCPRO. Recording times double with the use of a 64GB P2 card.
The HPX170 comes standard with the following items: AJ-P2C0016RG 16GB P2 card, The HVX and HPX Book by Barry Green, 5400mA battery (140 minutes), AC adapter/battery charger, accessory mic holder, component video cable with RCA-BNC adapters, remote control, shoulder strap and instruction manual.
