Your Price: $199.99

TASCAM Part Number: DR-60DmkII

The DR-60DmkII is an update to TASCAM’s DR-60D that provides upgraded HDDA microphone preamps. It’s a 4-track solid-state recorder combining two XLR connectors (w/48V Phantom Power) with two 1/8” Stereo connectors.

The unit mounts directly under your DSLR – no extra rig, rods, or plates required (though, it can also be mounted to a tripod, cage, or follow-focus rig). A Camera Output sends the mic mix to camera for easy synchronization later, and an input allows monitoring playback.

DR-60DmkII Features:

  • Records 4 Channels Simultaneously
  • Camera & Tripod Mountable
  • Records up to 24-Bit/96 kHz WAV/BWF Files
  • 2 Combo XLR/TRS & 1 Stereo 1/8" Inputs
  • Supports High-Output Microphones
  • Supplies Phantom & Plug-In Power
  • Camera Output with Level Control
  • Built-In Mixer
  • Powered by 4 AA Batteries
  • Records to SD or SDHC Cards
  • High-Quality HDDA Mic Preamps. The High Definition Discrete Architecture (HDDA) mic preamplifiers provide up to 64dB of gain and achieve an incredibly high EIN (-120dBu) for the lowest noise level available. A CIRRUS LOGIC’s AD converter is used to ensure detailed recording from any input signal.

Internal Mixing. The DR-60DmkII can record up to four (4) tracks simultaneously to the internal SD Card at up to 96kHz/24-bit WAV file resolution. It features a digital mixer for all four tracks and multiple recording modes. Adjust pan and level, add a Limiter or Hipass Filter (40/80/120Hz), and set individual channel Delay from the user-friendly set-up.

Three sets of stereo outputs are provided. A Camera Out sends a reference track recording to the camera. The Line Out can feed a mixer or recorder. Finally, a powerful Headphone Out is available for direct monitoring. Each of these outputs has its own level control, and the Camera Out can be attenuated to microphone level without the need for an attenuating cable.
