The Sony PXW-Z450 XDCAM XAVC 4K Shoulder Camcorder bridges the gap between ENG cameras and 4K applications. Using an 2/3-type Exmor R CMOS sensor, the Z450 records 4K QFHD (3840x2160) at 50p/59.9p, as well as a variety of HD formats including: XAVC Intra, XAVC Long GOP, MPEG HD 422, and MPEG HD 420.

Collared with a versatile B4 Lens Mount, the PXW-Z450 camera body accepts a wide variety of industry-standard lenses. Inheriting the well-received weight balance of the PXW-X400, the Z450 offers user-friendly ergonomic-designed weight balance. Thanks to its ergonomic design, the PXW-Z450 camcorder achieves optimized weight balance; this lessens the weight on the lens grip and contributes to stable image shooting.
