The VideoMic Pro+ uses an automatic power function (with plug-in power availability) that automatically turns the microphone off when unplugged from the camera. It can be powered by the included LB-1 Lithium-Ion Rechargeable Battery, by 2 double-A batteries, or continuously via Micro USB.
