The Canon LP-E19 is a battery pack designed for the EOS-1D X Mark II camera. It’s a rechargeable lithium-ion (Li-ion) with a capacity of 2750 mAh.
Smart communication with camera
10% Larger Capacity than LP-E4N
Necessary for 1DX Mark II to achieve max frame rate
The LP-E19 has the same form factor and contact arrangement as the older LP-E4N, but this newer iteration of battery expands the capability of the 1DX Mark II. Using smart communication, users can check the remaining charge, shutter count, and recharge performance in the camera’s menu. On the new Mark II, the LP-E4N will have 10% less capacity and a lower max frame rate (12 fps).
The LP-E19 is best charged on the LC-E19 Battery Charger. Though it can be charged on Canon’s earlier chargers, it won’t be able to fully regain its charge.
