It has well controlled optical performances at each focal length and focus distance by having a good balance between contrast and resolution. It reduces dust inhale by improving air flow and adding dust traps. The lens is adapted to extreme shooting environments with passive athermalization from -4 to 104 degrees fahrenheit (-20 to 40 degree celsius).
