Conference rooms and boardrooms everywhere are going HD, and Sony's EVI-HD1 takes the headache out of this transition with the flip of a switch - literally. Sony added this high-definition model to its EVI camera series. Since it is also compatible with standard definition (SD), this unique p/t/z camera allows you to take the first step in HD migration.
The EVI-HD1 camera combines a high-quality HD color video camera with the flexibility of remote pan/tilt/zoom operation. With 14 formats to choose from (including eight HD types and six SD video formats), this new dynamic camera allows end-users to decide when they are ready to migrate from SD to HD.
The EVI-HD1 is compatible today with existing videoconferencing systems and will be compatible tomorrow with HD based ones. It also inherits many outstanding features from the EVI-D100 P/T/Z camera and couples these with superb HD picture quality. Smooth, high-speed pan/tilt operation, 16x9 aspect ratio images and a built-in 10x optical zoom/wide angle lens, make the EVI-HD1 ideal for small to medium size conference rooms.

The Datavideo SE-2000 is a HDSDI switcher designed for small, live production venues of up to 5 inputs by combining 1 or 2 DVI-D computer sources and 3 or 4 HD-SDI sources. The HD-SDI inputs may be HD cameras or small HDMI output cameras that can be used with a Datavideo DAC-9 HDMI to HDSDI converter.
CG may be done with the Datavideo CG-350. PowerPoint® presentations go right in through the DVI input. The SE-2000’s multi display output includes each source, preview, program, and a digital clock display. In addition, the system will store and recall 14 different logos. It also has five operator set up memories and title overlay.
The SE-2000's built in audio mixer has four audio follows video inputs (microphone or line) and two audio outputs. As with all Datavideo products MS-800 works on 12vDC or local power. Operating the SE-2000 is fast because every control is right on the work surface – no shifts.
